My name is Ora Marcus and I established my Ormar Standard Poodles,
Perm. Reg'd. line in 1993 with the acquisition of my beautiful foundation female, Ch. Aftermath Ascot Gabotte,
Aka Marney....Marney is sired by BIS Ch. MacGillivray High Roller (BOS to BOB PCA National Specialty, 1987 under
noted breeder judge R. Forsyth) and out of the beautiful BIS Ch. Legacy Midnight Tango (WB, PCA National Specialty,
1998 under noted judge Anna Wanner).
Acquiring such a beautiful quality bitch as a novice was a very
big accomplishment for me, as most novices are forced to start out with merely finishable show puppies and then
graduate to a more quality show dog. In North America most reputable breeders are leary about novices. I know
some however who when they meet a novice who is serious and committed to honoring what they promise the breeder that they
will be able to acquire a quality show puppy from that breeder. I was fortunate I met such a breeder and I believe that I
have proved myself to her and made her proud of what I have accomplished with her line with which she started me
in 1993.
Marney, went on to finish her championship and won four Best Puppy In Show wins and became a
champion as a puppy. She went on to produce 6 beautiful champion children, with many Group First, Group placements
and Best Puppy In Show wins to their records. Her grandson, Knight, Am.Can. Lux, Hung. Danish Champion is a pretty male
who has won many Group First wins and finished his U.S. championship in three weekends with 3 four point majors under noted
judges. His first 4 point major was won at his very fist show in the U.S. at 8.5 mos. of age defeating over 30 dogs
and bitches from the puppy class, under noted breeder judge Denis McCoy.
Marney also produced a gorgeous puppy, Ch. Ormar Ode to Jenny who finished her championship
at 9 months old and went on to be specialed as a young puppy, defeating multi Can. and U.S. BIS and BISS winners
. She won several BOB, Group Firsts, Group placements and like her dam, Marney 4 Best Puppy In Show wins.
Marney's daughter Casey, Ch. Ormar Jump Start My Heart sired by AleKai Believe It
or Not (2nd place 12-18 mos. dogs PCA National Specialty 1997) won several Group Firsts and at her first show as a 6 mos.
old puppy defeated Canada's 1999 top winning Standard Poodle male, a multi Am. and Can. BIS special. The
only puppy bitches in Canada to ever defeat Canada's top winning multi BIS Am and Can. specials were the
Ormar puppies, Jenny, Ch. Ormar Ode to Jenny and Casey, Ch. Ormar Jump Start My Heart. Casey went on to produce
Knight our multi champion male. and became a top producer as did our Jenny, Both Jenny and Casey are top producing
dams of puppy group winners, group winners and placers and American and Canadian champions.
